The property is ideal to use as a base for Walking, Cycling and generally touring the Lake District, Pennines, Dales and Dumfries and Galloway. The village of Shap is approx 4 miles away where there are numerous Pubs and local shops. Other Pubs exist in Moorland (3 miles) and Crosby Ravensworth (3 miles). Alternatively Penrith is approx 8 miles and provides numerous Cafes, Pubs and Shops. Pets are welcome in this property. Ullswater and Haweswater are 20 minutes and 10 minutes away respectively. Also in easy reach are Shap (5 miles), Appleby (7 miles) and Kendal (15 miles)
